Harness the mythic power of the dragon with this beautiful silver sculpted serpentine beast wrapped around your finger. The ring also depicts a small rat riding on the back of the great dragon. The rat and the dragon symbolize opposite character traits in the Japanese and Chinese zodiac systems, and yet the two creatures are said to possess strong love compatibility for one another.
Please note that, for US ring sizes 8 and larger, we will craft this ring in a band shape, rather than as a wraparound spiral. Please see the last photo for an example.
The ring will arrive in attractive jewelry gift packaging, making a convenient, unique and presentable handmade gift.
We craft this unique ring from a vintage solid silver spoon exported from Asia, originating in Nagasaki, Japan, cast from a solid silver alloy. A stamping on each spoon reads "84", indicating a .840 silver content (compares to .925 for sterling silver). You can read an informed discussion about the origins and exact material content of this type of Japanese vintage flatware in the Silver Forums here:
Please specify the US ring size.
Within 2 days of purchase, we will fulfill your order and deliver it to the US Postal Service for shipping shipping.
