Handmade from broken antique glass and bottles taken from the woods and farmlands of the rural Pennsylvania Amish Country! From the pale lavender remains of broken early 1900's pale purple medicine bottles come these lovely filigree teardrop earrings. Glass has been reclaimed from these habitats, pounded down and fired, and sparkles inside the pretty filigree setting. Teardrops measure .5" at the widest point and approx. 1 1/4" in length. Teardrops are sterling plated brass, ear wires are surgical steel. Filigree pattern is all around allowing light to pass through and illuminate the glass (and the person wearing them). Each piece includes "The Story of the Glass" detailing the history and age of the glass used"

Bottled Up Designs is a remarkable line of jewelry handmade from the broken antique glass and bottles reclaimed from the natural wooded habitats and rural farmlands found in the beautiful Pennsylvania Amish Country! The glass is reclaimed in an effort to remove this hazard from the environment and wildlife. After being taken from the environment, the glass is hammered, ground and fired and turned into stunning modern wearable art. As a life long collector, I have prepared for each piece "The Story of the Glass" detailing the history and age of the glass used.
