I found these beautiful aquamarine cedar shingles in a dumpster on Lake Minnetonka, MN. After filling my trunk with all I could grab, I decided they make a nice back-drop for cabin, lake house or beach house themed wall hangings! I posted the first work online and it sold almost immediately. Since then, I have worked through the entire load of shingles and what is represented here are the final works I was able to create. PRESENTING: SCHOOL OF SHARKS. The sharks were carved from reclaimed 'underlayment' and the frame was made from a discarded crate material."

We make things of discarded things. Particularly wood things and electronic things. There seems to be a lot of wood in the dumpsters and a tremendous amount of electronic gadgetry. I happen to like wood and gadgetry and have been making and re-making stuff for almost FORTY years. Yah, I know... it's a long time to wait for something like Kuttlefish.
