When the empty bottle was headed for the glass container I thought: no way and decided to keep it. When it was standing in my workspace for a couple of days my upcycle plans evolved.

I remembered somebody making a vase of an empty bottle, so that was my starting point. But I wanted to add something more to it.

The combination of heavenly taste and Italy with its Roman Catholic roots lead me to the angels' theme. I started sketching until I found a form I did like. To make it complete I added a trivet to it.

I made the wings and trivet out of hardwood plywood and finished the wood with acrylic varnish. Everything is handmade without electrical machines.
