Steampunk'd - Starting with a solid Brass Kerosene Fuel Tank from a 100 year old "Perfection" heater. Polished the brass and started building this cool lamp. The fuel tank has a fuel gauge, a fill cover and a knob for winding the wick. Includes one large softball size 40 watt Edison bulb. One gauge mounted via copper pipe soldered and riveted, one coil made from 1/8" copper tubing. The tank has 12 brushed gold finish gears applied to it, they were cut from a metallic material and applied on the sides for a special look. A metal cage that protects the bulb and enhances the overall look. This piece of art is 17.25" tall, 12.75" wide and a front to back of 9". Weights in at a little less than 7 pounds. Includes a 6 foot long brown twisted-pair cloth covered vintage style power cord and a vintage style plug. Power on/off push button switch is mounted on front top of the fuel tank.
NOTE CHANGE: The light bulb socket shown in photos has been replaced by a high-end solid brass socket of much better quality! Looks better too!
