Barn wood and Chalkboard Growth Chart Ruler
Now you no longer need to mark your child’s growth on the wall or trim board and risk it being lost forever. Use this ruler growth chart to measure your child’s growth then mark with a permanent marker on the chalkboard section. The chalkboard can also be used to customize and make the ruler unique to your family. The numbers and height marks are routed into authentic barn wood that will not fade or peel as painted markings will over time. The ruler is designed to be hung 6” off the floor to clear any base boards and trim. A routed key hole is on the back side so all you have to do is place a screw into the wall at the proper height and hang the ruler. (Although not heavy it is recommended to drill into a stud, or use a drywall anchor if a stud cannot be used in the desired location.)

The Rusted Nail uses the Kuttlefish standard returns policy for all items sold.
Since 2010 The Rusted Nail has created unique furniture and home accents using material salvaged from barns that have past their prime. Materials taken from barns are unlike any other object. The wood and hardware of a barn have been distinctively aged by time, weather and the rigors of a functioning barn. All the recovered barns once stood on southern farms large and small, busy and quaint. While most farmers will allow their old barns to waste away with time, The Rusted Nail provides the option of giving the barns a new life. Just like the rusted nails that are pulled from the salvaged boards each piece created in the shop is unique in its own way.
The top priority of all designs is functionality followed closely by simplistic beauty. Rusted nail also combines the new with the old. Styles that are modern and classic, along with materials that are old and new are merged to create a unique creation.
