Here's the perfect wall art for your home foyer/entrance room. A convenient key hook and mirror so you can check yourself before you leave. This piece is made with beautiful marbled and iridescent stained glass. Deep purples, blues and greens are deep and rich. The piece is framed with crackled glass pencil tile on repurposed wooden cabinet door. It is currently hanging by my front door and catches everyones eye. Keep in mind that this one of a kind mosaic is made from repurposed materials and imperfections are inherent to piece.

Hello and welcome! I like to spin trash into beautiful art. Found objects and waste materials are my desired medium. It's cheap or free, and more importantly, it's recycled, ecological and ultimately beautiful and functional. For years I have garbage picked old, damaged, even shattered mirrors from the curb. Often I would find perfectly good, sometimes antique mirrors to be trashed, so I would rescue them. I decided to incorporate this glitzy material into my art, along with scrap art glass, broken tile, chipped china, pottery, beads, buttons, pebbles, shells etc....just about anything that glitters is gold to me. I also use eco-friendly glues and adhesives, scrap wood, molding, and old cabinet doors for foundation backing. Repurposed hooks, knobs and drawer pulls are great as well.
So take a look. I would love any feedback if you've got the time. I encourage custom commissions also! Contact me if you have any questions.
